WW2 The Invasion That Never Was

  1. Great clip.
I'm old school and I never understand why anyone questions the decision to drop "the bomb" instead.

  2. Indeed, you can abhor the use of the weapon as much as you like, but ultimately it took fewer lives, American, British, Indian, Russian, Chinese, all the other nations fighting in the region, or held captive, and indeed Japanese lives too, than prolonging the war another six months or so.

That aside, 'better them than us' still holds true all the same.
