My oldest brother trained on the recoilless rifle (jeep mounted) in the mid 1960s with the Canadian Army. I've seen them in museums and was amazed at how long they are. I don't envy the soldier in that film using a shoulder fired version.
I have an interest in post world war 2 and pre-Vietnam Era conflicts, and would some day. If I ever get the money that is make a Korean War range of figs in 28mm

ReplyDeleteThey haven't got any lighter over the years ether. 100LBs of the lightest kit the army has every fielded is still 100Lb. lol
