I just listened to this the other night myself! Amazing how many friendly fire casualties in the second battle with no enemy on the island. Oh, and it was cool to hear the German Shepard from the original unit of Americans was still around when repatriated!
Yeah Blue on Blue is always tragic. Not just for those killed, but also those who did the shooting. I chalk it up to them mostly all being green, and scared. But always a happy ending when the Dog lives to be rescued.
