Spectacular Parade In Dublin (1941)

  1. Fascinating. Were those troops of the Irish Republic? I'm guessing they were, in British equipment.

    1. Yes they were. The British figured it was better to have a decently well armed neutral nation on their western flank. So shifted a lot of equipment to them.
      Their Armored force never got to be to large, but they had at least a Regiments worth of Bren Carriers. Mostly used for gun and material transport.
      They did use their own uniforms, in a grey green color.
